We know, you’ve got a lot on your plate already, but you want to add more? We’ve been there! Little Karma Co. was built by a Mum to help reduce and remove toxins from her and her little one’s lives- so we know the struggles of fitting it all in! Stop thinking you have to do it all in a day.
It’s the excitement, it’s the wanting to be ‘there’ while you’re in the ‘just beginning’ stages, but focussing on all you still have to do won’t help you move forward.
Commit to doing one thing a day to move your side hustle forward- and this one doesn’t have to be Earth-shakingly huge. We’re talking a social media post, sending that email, enquiring with that supplier, deciding on your brand colours- all ‘small’ tasks, but have a cumulative huge impact on your side hustle growth.
On the days where you have more time, you can do more, but on those tighter days, it’s a way to feel progress whilst reducing overwhelm.

drop the guilt
Juggling a side hustle with parenting (and maybe even more), isn’t easy, but Mum guilt isn’t going to make it any easier.
Remind yourself that you’re doing this not only for the benefit of your family, but you’re also giving them an example in their life of following their dreams and making it happen- what a gift!
Also, that person on Instagram doing it all, swanning through life and building businesses while parenting? They’re not doing it alone- don’t believe social media!

it takes a village
Ask for help. You really don’t have to do things alone, and people in your life will be so happy to lend a hand, whether that’s taking the kids for an hour or so, or doing morning drop offs.
Remember that by you asking for support, you’re giving those people permission to do the same with you, and that’s a massive move towards increasing connections, developing relationships, and thriving together!

only do it for as long as it's fun
Bit of a tricky one this, because you do have to learn new skills, or do things that may not be your favourite thing in the world to grow your hustle (HMRC we’re looking at you), but remember that setting up your side hustle is something that you WANT to do.
If the end goal still brings you joy, those more boring jobs won’t be as tough, and you’ll get through them to the fun bits.
However, if it all starts feeling too much, and there’s no longer the excitement and joy that your hustle was supposed to bring, then consider if it’s the right hustle for you. You don’t want to add a huge workload to your life for something that doesn’t light you up!
If it no longer does, don’t be afraid to pivot- nothing is set in stone, and you want your hustle to work for you!
What side hustle are you wanting to start? Now’s your time Mum- you’ve got this!
