The mini, midi and large sizes are available in a choice of blush pink or terracotta orange refillable glasses. Our mega 3-wick size comes in our signature maroon refillable glass. Mum can keep refilling this glass and smiling at the wonderful message thanks to our candle refills!

We handcraft every candle in small batches in the Buckinghamshire countryside. We pack every order with love and care using eco friendly, recyclable, recycled, compostable or biodegradable materials.

REFILL YOUR HEY MUM CANDLES

Use our eco friendly candle refills to renew your refillable candle in 3 easy steps. So you can keep your home smelling divine using the same glass again and again, and at the same time help Mother Earth by reducing waste. Buy a candle refill with your candle and save 20% on the refill.

Step 1 | Clean your used candle glass under a tap with hot water. Do not use boiling water as this may damage. the glass. Try to avoid the label.

Step 2 | Use a lighter or match to slightly melt the bottom of the candle refill where the base of the metal wick holder is. This ensures the wick sticks to your glass and doesn’t slide around towards the end.

Step 3 | Once the small area of wax is slightly melted, pop the candle refill into the clean glass and enjoy your new candle!

Before refilling, please check the glass for cracks, lines and marks. Never refill a glass that may have been dropped or damaged.

 

BURNING AND CARE

This candle gift for Mummy does not contain chemical fragrances or boosters, creating a subtle scent that never overpowers a space. It should be enjoyed in enclosed spaces to maximise the aromatherapy benefits

Always trim wick to 5mm before lighting

Allow the wax to fully melt to the edge of the glass before extinguishing to prevent tunnelling

Each burn should not exceed 4 hours

Each wick tab is secured to the candle glass using plastic-free adhesive. Occasionally the wick may come loose, if this occurs and the wick moves off-centre, extinguish the candle and contact us for a replacement. Never leave a candle unattended.

Wax: 100% natural wax – rapeseed and coconut

Scent: 100% pure, natural essential oils

Wick: Cotton wick. We wax all wicks in-house to avoid the thin coat of paraffin used on most pre-made wicks

Materials: Glass container and recycled paper labels

Mini candle: Wax weight 70g. Burn time approx. 20 hours

Midi candle: Wax weight 150g. Burn time approx. 36 hours

Large candle: Wax weight 220g. Burn time approx. 50 hours

Mega candle: Wax weight 750g. Burn time approx. 80 hours
